Hey support,
any news regarding this matter?
It seems there is an issue with the website. When I change the active filter to 120 days or 365 days, and use the following URL to get data from page that is greater than 4(for example, page 6), there is no table to be loaded. Please contact InciWeb support that if it has REST API or backend database to get all data.

Hi, I am not quite sure what you mean. Isn't that what the Package table already does? There is a unique package on each project, but can as I say occur more than once in the table as it can occur on a second project.
For example, on Project 1 there is only 1 unique package called "Furniture", but Furniture can also occur in Project 2. But maybe you mean something else. Is it possible to be more specific? Or include a short description of what a table like that would like like as opposed to those that already exist?
Thanks!
Hi,
In future we are expecting more excel files to be updated in the folder. So bringing each file one by one, transform each files and appending will be repetitive task and I am trying to avoid the same.
Thanks
Do you use "Embed in SharePoint Online" feature in Power BI Service to integrate report to Sharepoint? And the users are not able to view the integrated report in SharePoint, right? If so, the report is located in "My workspace" or "App workspace"? How do you grant users access to the report in Power BI Service?

Is it possible to specify a SQL query using the Impala data source?
There appears to be no option via the UI, but wondering if supported via M....
if we install Impala ODBC connector we are able to use SQL, I’m wondering why this doesn’t appear to be available for native connections.
I’m trying to establish whether the PBI Impala datasource supports the use of a SQL statement.
The UI doesn’t appear to provide an option to specify SQL, but wondering if it’s possible via M syntax in the advanced editor (again no docs)
This is certainly possible via the Impala ODBC driver, so I’m wondering why not via native?
I can't use on-premises gateway when connecting to SSAS in Excel. Only peronal mode gateway can be used in this case.

Could you please explain the following statement? Which option do you use in Excel to add data from tables to PowerPivot data model? Where do you store these tables?
I have an Excel file with some tables in it.
these tables has been added to the data model (Power Pivot) into my Excel document.

Consider to publish your reports to Power BI Service, you are able to move visuals between reports in Power BI Service. Please take a look at the following blog.

Does the folder locate at on-premises SharePoint or SharePoint online? Which authentication type do you use to connect to the SharePoint folder in Power BI Desktop?
Regards,
Lydia
Hi
I followed the steps mentioned in the link shared by you along with I assigned the Admin access to the id using which I am creating PowerBI report:
While adding the data source to the gateway, I am getting the error:
The user I have created on SQL server and I am using that credential to connect, but unable to do so.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Vivek
Hello
I have prepared a dummy data set in the meantime and did some testing with it. The Excel sheet has the same columns as the live data set but far less and of course meaning less data in it. I first thought that the volume of data is the problem. Because I have reports depending also on Excel sheets but with only 1 MB in size. There the update process using the On-Prem gateway is working fine. I tested wit the existing report and also created a new report based on the dummy data set. With the existing and the new report, refreshing the dataset using the gateway destroys most of the data in it. Only refreshing the report in the desktop application and publishing it to the Power BI Workspace results in a fully working report.
I will try to share the Excel sheet through OneDrive with you, as I could not find a option for attaching a file.
Best regards, Gerhard
Do you mean that this error goes away after you re-connect to the source in Power BI Desktop? If so, please accept appropriate reply as answer to close this thread.

when you want to add an Excel table into Power Pivot, you have 2 options:
* power query and M
* add data to model (power pivot menu, add to data model option)
so I'm using the second option. my Excel data and my power pivot model are in the same document, is not 2 different ones.
the data are directly sent to the model without using Power Query.
My document is stored in SharePoint and accessible to multiple users, editable online.
but unfortunatly, in Power BI, the data never refreshed automatically.
when a user edit the content of the table, its not reflected until a user clicks the refresh all button in Excel (could be local or online, no matter, but a user has to click refresh)
is the automatic refresh not supported in Power BI for this scenario?
I'm not able to find any information on this subjects.
Thank you Lydia.
Hello, I have an origin in Access but the data size is very big now, i'm trying to change de datasource to SQL Server and don´t find this option in Power BI Desktop. Is it possible do the migration without remake the dashboard?
Thanks
Yes, create a new query to your SQL Server. While focused on this query, go into Advanced Editor and copy the "Source=" line. Close out of Advanced Editor and click on your other query that has Access as the data source. Open up Advanced Editor and replace the Source line with the one that you copied. You may also have to do something with the navigation line, etc. but that's the basic concept.
Yes, I did use the Embed in SharePoint Online then I go into SharePoint and I add an APP and user the PowerBI app template, then I use the url from the Embed in SharePoint link. The problem is that the users cannot see the integrated report in SharePoint. The report just pulsated with the PowerBI logo. It never returns an error.
