Data get mixed up between different Intune Data Warehouse

Hello,

As a multi service provider we are monitoring different Intune installations with Power BI. It is done by connection to Intune Data Warehouse. However, if two of these Intune installations has the same URL (same datacenter?) to the data warehouse the data get mixed up. 

 

Ex 

Customer1

URL: https://fef.msub05.manage.microsoft.com

credential: read@customer1.com

 

Customer2

URL: https://fef.msub05.manage.microsoft.com

credential: read@customer2.com

 

Customer3

URL: https://fef.msub06.manage.microsoft.com

credential: read@customer3.com

 

Data will be mixed up between Customer1 and 2, but not with customer3.

 

Any ideas?

Year column being summed up

Hi !! 

 

I am trying to visualize a dataset which has a number of fields one of them represents the "Year" from 1997-2017, when visualizing it the "Year" column is being summed up ! 

 

How to keep it as it is without being summed up ?

Without knowing what visualization you are using, you can try the following:

- In Power BI desktop, select the field in question on the right hand side, then select the Modeling tab, then in the Properties section, set the "Default Summarization" to "Don't summarize"

Hi everybody!

Try to disable Power Query add-in, restart Excel and re-enable the add-in.

This worked for me.

I have followed Frelis69's solution and it worked for me. Unfortunately I dont know which exact KB fixes the problem because there were heaps missing in m PC :-)

Based on my test, the issue is caused by triple wildcard in the JSON file. It is recommended to update the theme file to be more specific with the visualStyles section, replacing one of the wildcards with a specific entity (visual type or formatting card name). Please check attached JSON file. Using it, custom theme will retain after we publish report to web.

I got response from PG:

As the Theme feature is in preview, and the triple wildcard is technically working as expected, there is no “fix” coming. We also identified a popular third-party Power BI Theme Generator website (non-Microsoft) and asked the owners to change their tool to avoid creating triple wildcards.

Could you please post a screenshot about gateway connection in your scenario? Are you able to refresh a single dataset that only contains the Excel data source?

Add a blank query in Power BI Desktop and paste the following code into Advanced Editor of the blank query, then check if you get any error.

One drive power pivot data set updated but changes not showing in service

Good Afternoon

 

I have power pivot excel dataset in the one drive which is synced to the cloud. I always make enhancements to the dataset which are then refleced in the power bi dataset in the service. 

 

This process has been working seamlessly for months. Even 10 days ago I made some enhancements and they were reflected in the dataset in the cloud

 
This thursday I made some minor formatting changes like making a column visible and changing the format on some measures. But these changes are not being picked

 

I have not received any refresh failure notice for the scheduled refresh. I have tried manual refresh as well but whatever I do the changes are not reflected in the dataset in the service
